Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because they are particularly fond of lists at The Broke and the Bookish. They love to share lists.
1) Dan Brown - All of his books in my opinion are just awesome and it has been forever since his last book. They are so thrilling and adventurous. I just love them and hope he comes out with another one soon. =]
2) Christopher Paolini- He just came out with the last book in his series. I can not wait to see what else he does and where his writing will go. I really want to see more from him.
3) Cornelia Funke- I loved her Inkheart series and I really hope she writes plenty more.
4) JK Rowling- Of course I want more from the author of Harry Potter. So hope she writes alot more.
5) Philip Pullman- His Dark Materials series was so awesome. I really hope he writes more. =]
6) Stephanie Meyer- This is only for the Host Series. I really want the sequel to come out but not sure when that is going to happen.
7) Marissa Meyer-Cinder was completely awesome, she is an awesome writer and I know she will write more and can't wait for it. =]
8) Julie Cross-Tempest is another awesome book of 2012. Can't wait for the sequel and more books from her.
9) Beth Revis-One of my all time favorite authors and I hope she writes forever.
10)Veronica Roth- Ditto with my above statement. I want tons more from Veronica
Added an Eleventh cause just thought of another one off the top of my head.
11) Suzanne Collins-She hasn't done anything after The Hunger Games and I want her to writer more brillant books. Really hope she does.
Definitely let me know in the comments authors you want to see create and write more books. Link me up in the comments. =]
Thanks for visiting and Happy Reading. =]

Fantastic list! If it helps, Phillip Pullman has his Sally Lockhart series which is supposed to be amazing (according to the glowing FYA reviews!).
ReplyDeleteHappy reading!
I can't wait for Tempest. I'm supposed to be participating in the Debut Author Challenge tour for it, but I'm not sure I can wait for it to get to me in the mail! I love books with a college age main character.
ReplyDeleteI've never read Inkheart, but I really need to change that. I tried listening to it on audio once but didn't like the narrator.
Thanks for stopping by my top ten tuesday :)
Steph

ReplyDeleteI haven't read Tempest yet, but it looks promising.
Thanks for coming by my blog :)
Love this list - and so agree with Suzanne Collins and Beth Revis is on my list too.
ReplyDeleteOh, gosh! I TOTALLY forgot about Dan Brown and I'm sad because of it. Ah well, thanks for reminding me. : )
ReplyDeleteI haven't several of those you listed here but I will in the near future. Great List!

Oh how could I have forgotten Rowling?!! I was just thinking the other day, I wonder what she'll write next? (and then, Oh god what if she doesn't write anything?!)
ReplyDeleteI have Divergent and Across the Universe waiting on my shelf ... in a pile somewhere... I really must dig them out!
I think I saw a new book by Cornelia Funke in the YA section, but I can't remember what's it called.
Love your list! I agree about alot of these like Veronica Roth, Suzanne Collins, JK Rowling, Beth Revis, etc.
ReplyDeleteGreat list. I expect such great things from Veronica Roth! I am eagerly awaiting the rest of the Divergent trilogy and then whatever else she writes. And come on Suzanne Collins -- give us more!
ReplyDeleteDan Brown!! Good call! I loved Angels & Demons (more than Da Vinci Code)! Tho.. have you read his other stuff before the Robert Langdon ones? Not as good.. (Deception Point and Digital Fortress)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by :)

Aw, how did I not think of JKR! I'd love more from her!
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with Veronica Roth and Suzanne Collins!
ReplyDeleteI've read the first book in Pullman's Sally Lockhart series. It was good, but in a different way from His Dark Materials. It mentioned sensational penny novels a few times, and in the end it actually reminded me of one. There was just a lot of stuff happening.
Thanks for stopping by!
I totally forgot about Dan Brown! Cinder is up next on my to read list. Thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeletegreat list :) like you said we have some agreements :) awesome! Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI agree about Stephenie Meyer - I am curious to see if she'll write more and if so, what.
