Follow Friday(7)

Follow Friday is a weekly event hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read.
This week's Question is:
Go count the number of unread books sitting on your shelf. How many?

Ready...

Drum Roll Please...

I have 95 books on my shelf unread. I can not believe I have that many. This doesn't even count the many many books I have on my NookColor. I need to really work on getting my unread pile down. That is it this is proof that I am a book horder. =]

Link me up to your Follow Friday and I will follow you and let me know how much unread books you have on your shelf. =]

  1. Hopping through. I was really surprised to have 80 too - even though the number is probably higher. I have lots of books to read.

  2. Book hoarders unite! I couldn't even count mine, haha. Since everyone else seems to have an actual number I'm going to take this as a sign that I need to get more organized. :P

    Old follower hopping through! :)

  3. Don't worry Michael. I didn't count my eBooks either. If I had, I'm sure my number would be much higher.

    Have a great weekend!

  4. It seems like I have the least of everyone... in truth I wish I were like all of you - having that many book possibilities! But I guess it could be overwhelming :) Thanks for stopping by and following!! You've got a new follower here :)

  5. Hi, Just stopping by on the Friday Follow.

I have about 4 e-books on my computer that are waiting to be read and reviewed. On the shelf there are none. I usually get books from the library and take them back after reading them. A holdover from my bout with homelessness? Maybe.

    I am at

  8. Hey Michael - nice to meet you. Thanks for stopping by. I am returning the favor. :)

My 133 pales in comparison to your 95 - simply because mine includes my Kindle books as well. I thought that was terrible, but I see many others have more than I do. However, I did get a late start last year and I am looking forward to kicking butt and writing a ton of reviews this year. My ultimate goal is to dwindle that TBR number WAY down. Sounds like you are planning something similar. I look forward to seeing your progress! :)

  11. Hey Michael! Thanks for dropping by The Daily Bookmark. You're right - your list beats me big time. But don't be discouraged for being a hoarder. Bibliophiles are meant to collect, no? : ) Good luck working through your list! I'm sure you'll have a great reading year. : )

    Happy Friday

  12. Thanks for stopping by, Micheal - happy to return the follow.

95 unread books sounds like a manageable number - if it wasn't for the fact that I can't leave a bookstore empty handed, I might get down to that someday.
