Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because they are particularly fond of lists at The Broke and the Bookish. They love to share lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see others top ten lists!
Here are the Top Ten Books I hope Santa Brings. I might not get to Ten because I didn't ask for much this year but I am going to try. =]
1) The Hunger Games (The Hunger Games, #1) by Suzanne Collins
2)Catching Fire (The Hunger Games, #2) by Suzanne Collins
3)Mockingjay (The Hunger Games, #3) by Suzanne Collins
I read The Hunger Game Series all as ebooks on my NookColor and they are such awesome books that for Christmas I wanted them in physical form as well to put on my Bookshelf. =]
4)Thirteen Hallows by Michael Scott and Colette Freedmen
I love Michael Scott's The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel series and I want to read his new adult series. =]
5)The Warrior Heir (The Heir Chronicles, #1) by Cinda Williams Chima
6)The Wizard Heir (The Heir Chronicles, #2) by Cinda Williams Chima
7)The Dragon Heir (The Heir Chronicles, #3) by Cinda Williams Chima
I read The Warrior Heir also as an ebook on my Nookcolor and I still have to read the other two. So I am asking Santa for all of them in physical form. =]
8)A Dance With Dragons (A Song of Ice and Fire, #5) by George R.R. Martin
I have only read the first one in this series and have all the rest to read except this one and I am hoping for a complete set this Christmas. =]
9) Barnes and Noble Gift Card
10)Amazon Gift Card
Couldn't think of anymore books so I listed the gift cards I wanted so I can buy more books later. =]
Link me up to your list of what you hope Santa brings you this year. Maybe I can get a good idea of other books I can buy with my gift cards I hope I get. =]
Thanks for Visiting and Happy Reading. =]

Looks like you have some interesting stuff on your wishlist. No shame about the gift cards -- my family is doing a lot of that for me this year so I don't wind up with three copies of the same book or something. Then we're going out the next day.
ReplyDeleteI really do need to give George R. R. Martin a chance. I keep seeing his books around and just haven't given him a go yet. Hmm...
Also can't blame you for wanting physical copies of The Hunger Games trilogy. Those books are good. :)
Merry Christmas! I hope you have a wonderful day.
I had the Song of Ice and Fire boxset on my list as well. And the Hunger Games trilogy is an excellent choice!

I want The Hunger Games box set too! I have the US hardback of THG and then the UK paperbacks of Catching Fire and Mockingjay. I'd like a matching set please!
ReplyDeleteOoh, all parts of a series! A giftcard is always awesome. Some people feel weird about giving those, but I actually prefer it! I can then pick out what I want myself! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!
