Follow Friday(17)
Follow Friday is a weekly event hosted by Parajunkee and
Alison Can Read.
This
week's Question is: Q: What drove you to start book blogging in the first place? This is such an awesome question this week. There is a bunch of little things that made me want to start book blogging. First and formost was my friend. She started a book blog a few months before I started mine. I saw how awesome and amazing it was to get out all of your emotions and feelings about the books you were reading and to actually be able to tell others about them. Amy still has her blog and I aways credit her for the inspiration of my blog. =] If you want to check out my #1 inspiration the link to her blog is here. She gives amazing detailed reviews of all the books she reads. Her reviews are just awesome. =] Another thing is, I didn't even know that there was this huge community of book bloggers out there. There has to be at least a million of us. That is another reason that attracted me to this great world of book blogging. Plus all of the awesome giveaways and review books that are offered is another great perk of this blogoverse. I really can not wait to continue my journey of book blogging, have my reviews improve even more than they are now and be able to get a lot more followers to be able to talk to about awesome amazing books.
Happy Follow Friday.
Thanks for everyone who follows me, I will follow you back. =] CAPTCHA: If you have CAPTCHA word verification enabled on your blog, please take it off. It makes it much more difficult for readers to comment. Please look at Alison's CAPTCHA Eradication Post to learn how to get rid of it.

Great answer! I had no idea the book blogging community was so big until I really got into it! Now, I can't imagine NOT book blogging!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know the book blogging community was this big either, and I love it, I don't know how I ever did without it! I never had anyone to talk to about books all of these years, but I'm enjoying it now :) Thanks for stopping by, I followed you back.

Thanks for the follow Michael. I don't have a friend like you do but I think the fact that I've made a few through blogging makes up for it.

Why hello there!
ReplyDeleteI am returning the love that you showed me earlier on my blog, and I gotta say that it's amazing how many of us have started book blogging because of a friend or word of mouth. Our community is getting bigger by the hour and there is just so much to extract from it. It's awesome!
I look forward to seeing your stuff in the future.

ReplyDeleteI'm still working my way into the blog-o-sphere, right now I'm working with a blog site doing reviews here and there, but it's still somewhat hard, since most of the autors know the 2 co-founders, and I'm working on getting my name out there also.
ReplyDeleteI was surprised by the number of book bloggers when I first started looking around, I'm glad that I have gotten to know a few out you guys out there, and I'm looking foward to meeting more.
Thanks for the answer to this, and thanks for having this blog :)
How great to have a friend who got you into it! I think the blogging community is awesome, and it would have been great to go into it already knowing someone.
